For Hebrew podcast creators
Help people learn Hebrewthrough your conversations
Sababee helps people who already manage everyday Hebrew build vocabulary in subjects they care about — for work, life, or curiosity. They choose a topic and practise with short clips from Hebrew podcasts.
I’m Adam. I’m building the app because I need this myself, and I’m looking for the first shows willing to take part.
From a short clip to a little practice
Learners listen, answer a question, and explore unfamiliar words. When the answer is revealed, your show, the episode and a link to the original sit with the clip, so someone interested can keep listening with you.

Why did they split the system?
Show transcript and translation
Look, our biggest problem was not the code. The code was fine. The problem was that every time we wanted to ship a release, we had to coordinate between four different teams, and that just took two weeks. So in the end we split the system into microservices, not because it is fashionable, but because we wanted every team to ship on its own without waiting for anyone.
What I’m asking for
Permission to use short excerpts from your existing and future episodes for practice in the app.
- Participation is free. Sababee would not pay licensing or per-episode fees.
- Free access and optional paid features are planned. Your clips may appear in both.
- Every clip credits your show and links to the original episode.
- You can request removal at any time by emailing me directly.
What removal does
Your clips stop being served and stop playing. A clip someone already heard can sit in their phone’s cache until the app clears it, and their own practice history keeps a record that the clip existed. Nothing new of yours is served from the moment you ask.
Before starting, we’ll agree in writing on the scope of use and the removal arrangements.
Could this fit your podcast?
Send me your show’s name or any questions. If you’d like, and with your permission, I’ll prepare a private example from one of your episodes so you can see it before deciding whether to participate.
Getting in touch doesn’t commit you to participating.
